Life Lately | Kojie-San, Bellic, Gym, Ghostbusters, Suicide Squad, FlipTrip...

I've been liking the cooler weather. Not so much that it's always damp. My clothes. The curtains. The atmosphere, but the cooler nights afford me a more peaceful sleep.

Here are just some of the things that have happened these past few weeks.

Bevi (Beauty Elements Ventures Inc.) just recently celebrated their 10th anniversary at Sofitel Plaza Manila. In case you don't know, Bevi produced the very famous Kojie-San which uses Kojic acid (discovered in Japan) for skin lightening.

What is Kojic Acid?Kojic acid is a by-product in the fermentation process of malting rice, for use in the manufacturing of sake, the Japanese rice wine. - Wiki

There was a fashion show, some performances by singers and entertainers and speeches by Kojie-San owner Ms. Jazz Burilla and Sales Director Mr. Jun Matos.

I understand this is pretty famous overseas. It's even faked on Amazon and Ebay, so be careful guys!

They also have a new line of products called Bellic which uses Daisy Flower Extract for brightening.

Thanks again for the invite First Tier Brands and Kojie-San!

I've been doing yoga at Central Grounds Crossfit BGC. Well, I've only been there twice for yoga so it's not exactly a day-to-day thing.  Central Grounds Crossfit is a shared space with Evolve Yoga and the owners are all friends.

I've only gone twice but the facilities and the teachers (actually everyone) there are super nice and accommodating. So no worries if you're a beginner. They currently have a promo for their Yoga classes.  —P500 for 2 weeks at their BGC branch!

See their Facebook page for more detail. - https://www.facebook.com/evolveyogaph/

My most recent excursion was for FlipTrip's (a booking platform that focuses on the off-beaten path in the Philippines) latest venture Tripkada. Wherein you book a trip with other people who plan to go to the same place! Perfect way to meet travel and adventure junkies and of course new friends!

Tripkada, a platform where travellers can join group trips organised by fellow travellers. No need to wait for your friends to match with your schedules, budgets, and interests. No need to panic when flakers become one too many. Whether you’re a solo traveler, or a small group of friends, go on your next adventure and fill up your bucket list in a fun and affordable way with Tripkada.

I was there with my blogger buddy Arra (http://rookiemommy.ph) at BBZ Bar/Boteco Brasil along Rockwell Drive. It's a pretty cool place. Might check it out again next time!

It wouldn't be a travel meetup FlipTrip style without games and prizes...and free beer. :)

FREE TRIPS!

For the next 4 weeks, starting next week, FlipTrip will be choosing ONE winner each week from their Instagram followers (@Tripkada) with posts bearing the hashtag #Tripkada. Winners will get ONE free slot on any ONE of the team-hosted day-trips on Tripkada.

Guys... Ghostbusters and Suicide Squad... I'm not here to analyze the movie or have a debate but can we all agree that their soundtrack is FIRE? It's so so good.

I think they did a great job with this cover :)

What have you been up to lately?

xx,
CJ
