7 Makeup Tricks That Can Make You Look Amazing In Photos

7 makeup tricks to make you look amazing in photos
You don’t like how you look in the pictures? Does this happen so often? Fret not! A few tricks to apply your makeup can enhance your features and turn you more photogenic than ever. Here are those easy-peasy tricks that will help you look amazing in photographs.

Eye Makeup First:

Before you go ahead with your makeup, follow the proper skincare regimen that includes cleansing, moisturizing and exfoliating using a topnotch healing mask. Doing so will ensure that there is no dead skin cells dwelling on the face when you apply makeup.

Once done, begin with your eye makeup first. This will help you get a clean look as you will have the chance to wipe off stray residue. Moreover, keep your eyes bold, but don’t overdo them. Too much eyeshadow can make look older in pictures.

Sheer Foundation

It is important that you look neat and flawless in pictures. However, you don’t want to look cakey or artificial too. The best way to achieve a look that is realistic yet hide some of your flaws is to use a sheer foundation. Blend it using your fingers for a much natural finish.

Highlight Inner Eyes

Another tip that will help you greatly in looking good in the pictures is highlighting the inner ‘V’ of your eyes. Applying the highlighter inside the eye area gives a glamorous touch to the eyes and looks great on the camera. Also, apply it on brow bones for a lifted and enhanced shape.

Contour for Defined Shape

This tip is a gem and it really turns your pictures into a bomb if you do it right. Contouring helps in getting attention to the features that stand out and hides those that you don’t want to highlight. This is why you need to contour properly using a blush brush. Sweep the brush along your hairline, over your temples, under your cheekbones, and on the underside of your jawline. This will give you a more angular appearance.

Moisten Your Lips

Before you apply a lip color, you should hydrate your lips so that they don’t look flaky on the camera. Dab a bit of lip balm over your lips to give them life. Once done, apply a good bright lip shade so that the shape of the lips and the hue is visible in the photos.

Set With A Translucent Powder

None of your makeup can actually work in the pictures if you don’t set it off properly. Apply a good amount of translucent powder on your face, especially in the T-Zone, so your makeup doesn’t melt off.

Brush your Hair and Set it with a Spray

If you need to look settled and beautiful in the picture, you have to keep your stray hair and flyaway at bay. Before taking a picture, just brush your hair and set it with a shine spray. It will get rid of frizz and will give life to your hair.
